Kentwood's Wee Heavy Finalist @ Scottish Beer Awards - inspired of course by Fowlers since the '45!

Did the Prince drink Wee Heavy in 1745?*

If not, it's his miss! It's available for us this weekend and beyond at The Gothenburg [closed Mondays alas] as re-crafted by the in-house brewers Sean Wood and Lewis Kent - Kentwood for short.

And that Wee Heavy has just reached the Finals of the Scottish Beer Awards - Best Scottish Ale Style.

My preferred pairing for the Wee Heavy is still with Andrew Laurie's pork dishes! But there's the Tropicano to go with the fish at this weekend's Scottish Seafood Festival all day Saturday and Sunday 11th/ 12th June.
