Fowler's Beers from a MicroBrewery

The second big initiative for 2001 is going to be the creation of a microbrewery at the Heritage Museum to brew some if not all of the famous Fowler's beers of old, that assuaged the thirst of many a miner in Prestonpans.

A virtual library of old Fowler's bottles will also shortly be available from Mr Rollo who developed the Fowler's brewery site in Prestonpans as apartments some years back.

Sylvia Burgess, Baron Sergeand, will be leading this project personally. She is looking for brewers in the Prestonpans community. Any volunteers to help it happen, which includes tasting one assumes!
