It is a Pageant of Song, Poetry and Theatre created by the distinguished Scottish playwright and actor, Andrew Dallmeyer, who was brought up near Aberlady, and who narrates and directs this premiere. The Laverock Singers and the Meanwhile Players are featured and new works by Laureate John Lindsay are included. But so are Rangers and Celtic supporters. It recounts the story of the famous Battle Victory in 1745 and debates its significance then and for us all today - most particularly the Hope and Ambition it inspires.

The Trustees will be taking this Pageant 'on tour' in the coming months to churches across the Lothians and Borders in their drive to publicise, and gain Supporters for, the Battle Campaign for better interpretation and presentation. If any reader is interested in bringing the Pageant to their locality [or getting the script for their own presentation] please be in touch with waukin@battleofprestonpans1745.org or phone [+44] [0] 1875 819922
