What lies in store for The Laymanites?

Port Seton band The Laymanites are to compete at Emergenza - the world’s largest battle of unsigned bands.

The four piece outfit (formerly known as Vintage) comprise Paul Brownlee (lead vocals) Stevie Scott (guitars & backing vocals) Bruce Thomson (bass guitar) and Steve Archibald (drums).

After winning every round they have competed in so far, the next challenge is the UK North Final where they will be up against 14 other bands.

The gig, which runs concurrently with heats in Paris, Melbourne & Nürnberg, takes place at the Carling Academy in Glasgow on the 1st of July.

A limited number of seats are still available on a coach running from Port Seton to Glasgow. Return tickets priced £15 can be booked HERE; www.myspace.com/thelaymanites; or by phoning 01875 813873.
