Trustees' Report to Clan Chiefs and Representers: July 2007

Clan Chiefs and Representers of Hanoverian Leaders at The Battle in 1745 are the 'Trust's Patrons'

When consideration for the creation of the Trust began in Spring 2006 the first thing the Trustees sought was support from as many Clan Chiefs and Hanoverian leaders whose ancestors did battle on September 21st 1745 as could be traced. The search was not in vain and it is most pleasing to report that the following now constitute the Committee of High Patronage:

Rt Hon The Earl of Airlie
His Grace The Duke of Atholl
Donald Cameron of Lochiel
Brian Cox
Sir Patrick Grant of Dalvey [Sir John Cope]
Sir John Hay of Park [fell with Colonel Gardiner yet survived]
Rt Hon The Earl of Home
Ranald MacDonald of Clanranald
Colin MacDonald of Glencoe
Ranald MacDonell of Glengarry
Sir Malcolm MacGregor of MacGregor
Rt Hon The Earl of Perth

Reporting to Our Patrons and Supporters in The Pans and here on the web

The Trustees are pledged to hold face to face Briefings in The Pans each quarter and to place regular written reports here on the website for those too far off to attend or unable so to do. The Report below brings all involved and supportive of the campaign up to date across all areas of action by the Trustees.
