Great Lengths We Go To ... ... Agreed!

Edinburgh Evening News says it all ...

We're making a collection of sub-editor headlines for The Prestonpans Tapestry. Brings out the best in them it seems....

The Edinburgh Evening News came visiting at Andrew Crummy's Studio last week in Cockenzie to see what was what ... and they scooped the BIG picture. They were first to see the Cohorts of Fives en masse. More than that, they captured them before Lead Stitcher Dorie Wilkie and colleagues decided, Yes, decided to un-stitch their stitching together to try a different way of stitching together. That should get sub-editors going in search of the phrase juste!

Maybe a Competition on July 26th. Prize? A copy of 'that' now famous novel A Needle in the Blood by Sarah Bower?

What a picture. One of our best so far! And not only do we have our artist Andrew Crummy but also his two children who have clearly already been led astray, and Dorie Wilkie and Elizabeth Jones ... and who else can you see?
