Micro Brewery

Fowler's Ales , famous since the '45 Jacobite Rising and Bonnie Prince Charlie's victory over the English on the outskirts of Prestonpans, will be brewed again using the old recipes.

The brewery closed in the mid 1960's and whilst its vast volume is planned, people who visit Gothenburg will be able to enjoy their Fowler's.

A micro-brewery is included in the restored building and will be managed and led by partners from Fisherrons Brewerie in Musselburg. They will be however, from the outset, seek to train and induct local enthusiasts from Prestonpans in the ancient art of brewing. The micro-brewery will be visible from the bar through plete glass.
