Once again Pinkie Cleugh's Battle in 1547 was Remembered
The saltire flew once again from September 10th at the Memorial Stone placed by the Old Musselburgh Club during the 2019 Remembrance of that battle in 1547 when so many died.
The Scottish Battlefields Trust joined community groups there laying its own wreath.
In 2017 the Trust presented a Re-enactment at Newhailes LINKED DIRECTLY HERE … and has plans to create a similar occasion in 2020.
