Restoration Plans & NewsNet Reports

Restoration of The Gothenburg was completed for July 3rd 2004. All the major features of architectural interest have been retained and the facilities have been modernised and extended to permit extra meetings and events to take place.

The opportunity was taken to provide a micro-brewery making real ales under the Fowlers' name. The Edwardian bar was refurbished and bistro style meals provided.

The Gothenburg has become the focal point for all the arts and heritage work of the Baron Courts.
