Staggering Burns Supper 2001

Some 50 Clansfolk attended at The Manor House taking the Glenkinchie and the haggis and neaps. The whisky was greatly appreciated and the haggis from Cockenzie was the finest we could all remember.

Gerald Park, cousin from Bedford and onetime Sheriff there, was the Guest of Greatest Honour, with wife Anne.

The two new stained glass windows were unveiled with the Arms of Prestoungrange and Dolphinstoun in The Library created from pine by Lady Prestoungrange.

And the Poems were again read and sung.... with a promise from John Unwin of larger type setting for us all for the future ....

2002 will be a more modest, all ticket, affair aboard the Orient Express Northern Belle on January 26th 2002 which will save Lady Avril the preparation ... but she will back in the fray in 2003 ... NB Tickets on the Orient Express are still available ... if you wish to join please contact the Baron Sergeand on sylviaprivate@irdc.com
