Janice McNab on Show in Edinburgh

Janice McNab, who was the first artist to receive three commissions in 1999 from the Baron Courts in celebration of the 'new' Baron's accession to the lands of Prestoungrange & Dolphinstoun, has held an Exhibition at the Talbot Rice Gallery at the University of Edinburgh. The three outstanding paintings completed for Baron Courts appear below and were first hung in the Courts' offices on Beaumont Street, Oxford but can now be seen at The Gothenburg in Prestonpans.

You can view the three paintings here:

The Ceiling | The Foreshore | Miners' Showers

Her work was described in her inimitable prose and her airline seats in particular conjures up many a nostalgic memory of trips from Edinburgh/ Luton and back.
