Youth Mural Project – Summer 2006

The mural is one of three Mural Routes initiatives over the summer of 2006. The “Natural Mystic” project was funded by the City of Toronto Economic Development Mural Program, Graffiti Transformation, and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services Summer Jobs for Youth Program, through Tropicana Community Services. Partnered with Youthlink and Action for Neighbourhood Change, four youth artists Leo Lam, Faith Webster, Anthony Monohan and Juhyun Oh were engaged in applying their skills and building on their artistic talents over an 8 week period under the direction of artist mentor, Javid Alibhai.
