Culloden Comes to Prestonpans: May 16th @ 7.30 pm

National Trust at Culloden Investing £7.8 million in Tourist Interpretation & Restoration

Alexander Bennett, who is the National Trust for Scotland's Project Officer at Culloden, is masterminding their current £7.8 million 'new' investment to attract a million visitors a year there in future. Their existing facilities already host 400,000.

He is coming to Prestonpans to tell the tale and most importantly to encourage our emergent Campaign for a more proper commemoration in Prestonpans of the famous Highlanders' Victory here for Bonnie Prince Charles on September 21st 1745.

Please make a diary note ... May 16th at 7.30 pm at The Prestoungrange Gothenburg.

The big launch of our own Campaign will be September 21st 2006, another diary note please! But even before that date, in association with the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts Manufacture and Commerce [RSA], their 2006 Coffee House Challenge at The Prestoungrange Gothenburg from 11.00 - 14.00 hrs on June 29th will be getting 1745 Battle issues aired and then all written down to go into the plans. A third diary date!
