A Salt Glaze for Our Murals

Onshore Nor'Easterlies + Spring Tides = Stormy Weather!

When muralisation of the Pans first began in 2001, and the sea wall was selected at the initial outdoor gallery, we anticipated a wee drenching from the sea from time to time.

April 9th 2005 was a good example. But as can be seen the first mural painted of Morrison's Haven still looks good in the spray. Not too clear how the Transportation and Pottery Murals farther along the beach will have fared, but the paint manufacturer gave a guarantee of an extra can if they did get washed away. "Just a healthy salt glaze", he observed.
