East Lothian Life tells the Tapestry Story

East Lothian Life November 2009 publishes David Lee and Gaynor Allen's story of the new 90m Prestonpans Tapestry

National and regional media have already picked up the story of the search for stitching embroiderers for the Battle Trust's epic 90m tapestry due for completion and display next July / September 2010.

More than 100 stitchers are now registered and keen to assist and nearly a third of the 90 panels being designed by Andrew Crummy are already in homes across Scotland for embroidering this winter under Dorie Wilkie's leadership. The last one is forecast to be despatched before Burns' Night.

The article by David Lee and Gaynor Allen published in the November 2009 issue of East Lothian Life will take awhile to download because it's a hi res full colour pdf .... but if you haven't seen the magazine yet it's well worth downloading here and now. And for the future why not subscribe regularly? Phone Dunbar 01368 863593 or email info@eastlothianlife.co.uk
